Kinski

Inspired by Anita Pounder’s 30 minute acrylic sloth, I decided to have a go a painting Kinski our Yellow Thighed Caique. As with Anita’s demo, I also used a palette knife and set the timer for 30 minutes. However, unlike Anita, I didn’t have a few spare minutes at the end to fine tune things. Also I have to confess that I did use up a bit of time at the start with a sketch and had to use a brush at the end for the eye and the line on the beak.
Acrylic paint on hobby craft 250 gms mixed media paper.
