Dog Rose
A constant feature of my daily walk along the Northumberland coast are the vast hedges of wild roses which I have determined are Dog Roses. I therefore thought it was appropriate to paint these for the Rose Challenge.
This is a mixed media painting of a scene I created from several photos I took one morning. Although mainly watercolour I also used a small amount of acrylic paint for the stamens.
I also took the opportunity to use/try out some recently purchased Inktense Blocks.
