Sunset over the Cooling Towers..
An acrylic painting depicting a sunset over Sellafield Nuclear Power Station.
A friend has a Railway Museum in St Bees and each year he has an art exhibition for local artists and, as I am originally from Cumbria, he allows me to submit a couple of paintings. I try and do something specific to the area and so this year I decided one of my paintings would be of the nuclear power station. My main aim was to create an atmospheric painting which is why decided on a sunset.
