Distant Turbines
This was the third of 3 paintings I did for a local Exhibition. The 3 paintings were all of landmarks which I see each day when I walk the dogs and each one was done using a different medium.
On this particular day the surface of the sea was “sparkling” with the effect of the sun and clouds on its surface with the turbines just showing through the slightly hazy horizon.
I used a variety of “Script” acrylic paints and Hobbycraft acrylic paints plus Series 3 heavy bodied titanium white acrylic on Clairefontaine 250gm mixed media paper.
