Fiddler’s Green

A painting of the sculpture has been on my to do list for some time and fortunately in December last year I visited the Quay and had my camera. However, once I had the photo I then had to give it some thought on how I was going to present it!
I wanted to give a suggestion of the sculpture looking for colleagues out at sea and this was the representation I came up with. The sculpture is a memorial to the North Shields fishermen lost at sea…
