Fledgling
A mixed media (water colour pencil, watercolour and ink pen) sketch of a fledgling which I photographed in our garden earlier this year. The bird looked as though it had recently left the nest but the parents were keeping a close watch over it. It was only around for a couple of days before it fully found up its wings and moved off to pastures new.
Derwent Inktense pencils, Hobbycraft watercolours and black ink pens (permanent and water soluble) on 240gm Fabriano watercolour paper.
